Hey 👋🏻 I’m your host, Rachel Meltzer
A freelance writer with over 6 years of experience. I went from part-time freelance writing while working as a barista (making less than $1,000/month from writing) to fully booked with a waitlist in less than 3 months (making $5k+/month & working only ~17hours/week)!
I write content and copy for SaaS Companies and Outdoor Brands. I also coach freelance writers and host The Guidebook podcast. My mission in life is to help people change their careers and their lives.
I love backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, camping, writing jokes for my stand-up comedy, making bad music, and trail running. I currently live in Amherst, MA with my cat, Bonnie.
I have a never-ending love affair with thru-hiking (Appalachian Trail 2018!) and vanlife – so don't expect me to stay in any one place for too long!
